    Dreamcast VGA and component cables

I am planning to buy a Panasonic TX32LXD52 TV and I know it have no VGA input

Is there anyway I could use Dreamcast VGA to the TV. I got the VGA Adapter from Dreamcast.

Only way I know of doing it is with a VGA-> Component adapter which all seem quite pricey. Don't believe there is a DC component cable, will be happily proved wrong though...

Does it have a RGB scart? Worst case you could use Svideo Im sure.

Sorry dude, I have the Same TV here - sadly it wont accept VGA signal of any kind even via HDMI -> DVI conversions....

But alas - the quality is remarkable!!

A VGA-to-Component transcoder is the way to go.

Better off asking over at http://www.hdtvarcade.com , as VGA on TV seems to be pretty uncommon where most of the forums members seem to be, so a lot of then use VGA-to-Component transcoders.

You want a vga to yuv transcoder, they are not cheap to be honest, and I doubt you would notice a massive amount of difference anyway.

They're not cheap at all but trust me, it is worth it.

Use a Key Digital KD-VTCA3. There is a very slight red push but the quality is remarkable none the less. And also there is no video lag, so it's suitable for video games.

However don't try and use it with the VGA box that's available on Lik-Sang (the cheap Chinese one). It doesn't work. I use a Blaze VGA box with it which works perfectly.

Why don't you just choose another TV then?

The KD-VCTCA 3 will be about $200 not including shipping.

I am still looking for alternative, but it is not easy to choose. I would prefer a pioneer 43" plasma HDTV screen instead. If you know any good LCD/plasma with good HDTV/SDTV picture, keep up with refresh, look beautiful and cost below 1,100 I will be interested. 32+" inch only. It must be good for games, DVDs, football and Sky

I tried Samsung (Demopod), Panasonic and LG so far.
