    VGA adapter - sound/picture interference

Got a strange issue with my Blaze VGA adapter for the DC... firstly the audio outputs give off a constant buzzing when plugged in. I also noticed during the DC boot sequence that the picture flickers when there is sound being output.. with the opening noise I get horizontal bands of grey on white that move as the whoosh noise plays, then disappear when it's silent. The buzzing has happened before, briefly, but I sorted it by just squeezing the case of the adapter!

Thinking this would be something obvious (like two wires touching or something), I opened it up to have a look, but everything is soldered on to a circuit board and I don't see where there could be any kind of cross-over.

    Can anyone advise?

It's either two wires touching (I had a similar problem with my Megadrive RGB cable until I fixed it) or poor wire shielding. Check your wires a bit closer and also check to see that the connections are actually entirely secure. Look out for tiny strands of loose wire.

Thing is, I didn't see any wires at all! It was all soldered directly onto the board.
