    Frame skipping

Has anyone else noticed that some of PAL 360 releases are frame skipping when running in SD? Quake 4 and PDZ both have noticable frameskipping in the cut-scenes (Quake 4's intro highlights this to great effect, the metal debris moving across space). Thankfully during play it's not all that noticable.

I get it on the PDZ cut-scenes.

PDZ is a weird one as it seems to run fine when playing, whereas Quake 4 still skips frames, but as there's so much action going on you don't really notice it that much. Furthermore it's still evident when running in PAL60 which I would have though would solve the problem as the game is running at it's native refresh rate?

Over component, you can only run at 50hz. VGA only at 60hz. PDZ has it's problems with all resolutions!

PGR intro also skips frames in PAL60, i'm guessing it takes some processing power to output HD defs then downscale it.

I'm not running component, I'm using RGB scart which should be fine at 60hz.
