Xbox 360 HELP WITH APPLE NETWORK

I have the airport extreme apple wireless network and the old xbox works no problem with the ethernet cable connected but when I put this cable into the 360, it just does not connect, nothing ?

Not being very technical is not helping but any help or advice would be great.

What does it say on the dash when you try and connect?

Got it working but only with using the cable that comes with the new xbox and it's far too short, i thought all ethernet cables were the same.

Should I try the expensive 360 dongle wireless adaptor microsoft do!!

There are 2 types of ethernet cable that you could possible use, Crossover and straight. You need crossover
