Help finding an available US Final Fantasy VII

You wouldn't think it, but an in-stock version of Final Fantasy VII (PSone) seems to be hard to find. Everywhere I've looked is either out of stock or on backorder, and considering how old the game is, I don't expect it back in anytime soon.

Does anyone know a reputable site selling the US version of Final Fantasy VII in-stock?

Having possessed a US PS2 for over a year, it seems a no-brainer to play one of my all-time favourite games at full screen, full speed. As an aside, apart from the obvious (Xenogears/Final Fantasy Tactics etc.) what non-obviouis US (unreleased PAL) games would you recommend are worth checking out?

I can't believe I'm struggling to find the PSone's premier title in-stock online.

It's listed as 'ships within 1-2 days' at The Rage

Might be worth firing them off a mail to check that's accurate.

I'd have to recommend Dragon Warrior VII and Rhapsody A Musical Adventure. Dragon Warrior VII is an old school RPG that feels very much like a SNES RPG but with much better graphics. There's a real sense of adventure and exploration and the job system to gain new abilities is excellent. Rhapsody is a love story RPG. It's a bit easy and short but it does everything so well. Excellent stuff.

I've got an original release that I'm prepared to sell. Discs have light scratches, but play without problems. Everything else is in good order. PM me if you're interested - ?7 inc. delivery?

Thanks. I'll see if I can track it down. Might be good to pick up at the same time I do as VIII (DQ).

for other psone rpgs, i'd reccommend Valkyrie Profile (a topical one as well, given the recently-announced extensions on the series) - some really enjoyable characterisation; it's an acquired taste at times, due to its episodic nature, but i found it oddly compelling.

Legend of Mana also has some brilliant characters (the finest npcs i've seen in a game - they're all so charming) though the action-based combat might not suit everyone. I think it might have got a fairly limited PAL release, but it's one worth looking at if you liked the feel of any of the other mana games and haven't seen LoM before
