Will wired arcade sticks work on PS3?

Im thinking of getting a Hori Real Arcade Pro stick but not at the price it costs if it can't connect to the PS3 in the future. Is there any word yet about whether wired sticks will work or not on the PS3?

No word as of yet, afaik.

Until we know what sort of controller chip the PS3 uses for its input, that is to say, when the console actually comes out and someone opens a controller and finds out what chip's in there, we won't have an answer for this. Also depends on what connector they use, although that'll be an easier obstacle to overcome.

Only Sony knows right now if they'll provide wired ports too.
