My Ninteod WI FI came.. What now!

My ninteod Wi Fi came
I am trying to test it works but i have no Wi Fi DS game yet until mariop arrives..
Any way of testing it?

I thought I miht be able to get my PSP to work on the Wi Fi but don't seem to find anything.

how does this Wi Fi nintendo usb thing work if its activated is it running wi fi then or even if I click "Stop nintendo wi fi" it still runs wi fi plugged in?


How does this thing actaully work, is there a way to get other stuff to connect via it?

It also has made my main internet connectiong as SHARED.

I can't find a setting to disable sharing.. I always got told if your internet connection is set to sharing its open to hacking or something bad.


Any advice, suggestions plz.

Well theres not much you can do til you get a wifi game as you need to use the wifi setup in the game to finish the connection.

When you test the connection using a game your ds username you gave your machine will apper in the nintendo wifi usb connection tool window. You then click on your username in the tool window & grant it permission to connect.

Now everytime you connect to the usb adapter it will show you on your tool screen including online status & signal strength. No other ds's in the area will be able to use your wifi connection unless you grant them permission in the tool window.

And it *only* works with the DS, so you can't use any other WiFi thing with it at all
