    Difference in HDTV Cables..

Currently i am playing my 360 in composite, can't get an advanced scart, and i have to say, although you can see it needs one (used rgb for last gen) pgr3 is stunning, it really is, anyway, i'll get to my point, i am definitely getting a HDTV in the new year and i was searching around for cables for it ready, but i came across two cables, component cable and vga cable both for hdtv, now, do i get one according to the hdtv i buy, or is it something else, i'm going to get prices for the hdtv this weekend, and i'm hoping i'll be allowed to take my 360 in for a demo, Thank you

If your HDTV has component, get the component cable, if its only going to have VGA, get the VGA cable and if it has both, get the component cable.

Can I ask why you think the component cable is better?

          Spoony.

It's completely subjective to the TV really, though VGA is technically the better cable.

Was just wondering, I have tried both, and just slightly prefer VGA on a plasma.
