LIVE trial subscription confussion

Can anyone help

The 360 came with 1 or 2 month free Gold membership subscription, how is this
claimed ?

All i received was a LIVE leaflet but there was no code or scrath of bar, am i being stupid or missing a leaflet or something.

Nope - You just sign up and get your one month free automatically.

You only get the free month if you create a new gamer tag. The free time will have already been added if you created a new one.

Ah right so if you create a new account with 1 years subscription you get 13 months automatically

This got me as well. Just click on the silver member link, and up pops the months free option.

So is it only used if you click silver member and use the option or does if automatacilly add to a new account?

Ive just checked my details on xbox.com and my expiry date is 12 months from the day the machine was released so you must have to select the option from the silver member link to activate it.

yeah i did it, you have to select silver and then it offers you 1 month free, abit cheeky really!

Can someone check to see if the option of 1 month free is still available under silver member link if a new gold account has previously been created?
