I bought a few Hidef wires from PA and its been over a week since they were shipped out, and I still havent recieved them.

What are shipping times like when using standard airmail with them?

about 14 days on average - recently took that long for 2 items for me

Christmas time i reckon about 21 days and if customs stops the parcel about 28 days

Its usually 10 days by parcel force for me.

I never pay for EMS, but it always comes by parcelforce. Well theres always a parcelforce sticker on it....

royal mail pick up all airmail stuff - thats why i like to use them as they only charge about ?4.05 in fees if i get stung via customs

whereas Parcelforce pick up the big parcels and more important stuff - EMS if you will and charge ?14.50 to clear customs

everything i've ordered via airmail has been delivered by royal mail - even usps global priority gets delivered by royal mail and thats the service under EMS in the states

last 2 items (biohazard parcels) were both delivered by the postman

as Parcel force and royal mail are one of the same i think they sometimes deliver them, i know before ive had stuff send by airmail delivered by Parcelforce, only on saturdays though, had the same with special delivery stuff.

Just realised they gave me a tracking number for it! Although didnt tell me which courier ft:

Tried EMS and Parcelforce, and came up as invalid. Any ideas where to try?

have you tried to check the numbers on the hongkong post website then check parcelforce if you got it shipped by ems ?

if you've got a tracking number its definately not been sent via airmail

post the tracking number and i'm sure the boffins here will sort it out

I didnt even opt for the tracking option, just standard airmail, so I avoid customs, as the package is worth just under ?80.

Although, it left on the 8th, so its now been almost 2 weeks

Unless you've asked P-A to mark the value of the package down I reckon that it may well be sitting with customs....

In the past they used to automatically mark stuff down for you if you didn't go for courier/ EMS shipping but a few months they started stating the full value on the customs declaration regardless of the shipping option selected.
