How to clean the touchscreen?

I kinda fudged the screen protector installation and i'm left with a muddy looking screen (not as clear or bright as the top one). Of course I managed to get the (slightly useless) top screen protector on perfectly So how best to clean the touchscreen without leaving any marks?
