When is "club" football coming to 360?

So, although I enjoy Fifa 06 : Road to the World Cup, I was wondering...When will I be able to play club footy on my 360? The problem is, my lethargic attitude to International Football is the same in real life as it is for gaming and just about now I've got bored of playing as England or, to be honest, whoever!

Pro Evo 5 is compatible with the 360 right? My question is whether or not you can download a saved option file or saved game with up to date club names/transfers/shirts/etc like you can for PSP/PS2. If so, then I'm gonna go and buy it tomorrow but I can't work out any way you'd actually do this even if there were. You can of course stream to the 360, but I've not noticed the ability to actually transfer files from the PC to the GAME section of the HDD. Mind you I've not actually looked in any depth because until now, I've not needed ot.

So, Pro Evo 5 aside, is there any news on the first club footy game for the 360? The more I think about it, the more I think EA made a big mistake releasing an internation only game, since this year Fifa 06 was fantastic and finally a match for Pro Evo (complain elsewhere, I actually believe it having played both).

So...long post, sorry but any ideas as to a solution to my problem?

I've got a feeling that for those of us looking for a club based challenge, we might have to wait until the next season for the debut of PES6 and FIFA 07. I haven't heard of any footie games that will be released soon, so someone will have to make a game out of nothing very quickly, especially seeing as how it's going to be a world cup year, and loads of developers and publishers will want to cash in on that.

As for Pro Evo 5, then yeah it is compatible, although I don't think you can get the updated game saves onto the hard drive.

      Thats baaaaaaaddddd then!

So the decision is, do I buy Pro evo 5 or Fifa 06 (with full club names and a damn good manager mode). Mind you they might look crap now compared to Fifa 06 Road to the World Cup!

      Seems damn annoying to me!

Haven't you already got PES5 or FIFA 06 on something else? I'd make do with them for now, and get something next season.

I just wanted to play it on my 360 (shame)!

I don't own an xbox, so I had em both on ps2.

There would be a rather long and convoluted way of getting pes5 with updated kits on the 360. Download the update file and transfer it to your xbox 1 (or buy the memory card with it preloaded from ebay.
Then on your 360 sign into your live account and transfer your xbox 1 saves onto the 360. This is just a theory mind, I haven't actually done this so might not work. Not sure if there's a way to streamline this whole process either?

              AFAIK you can't transfer saves between Xbox1 & 360.
