PSP VIDEO 9 help

I'm trying to convert an .avi file with a resolution of 640x272 for viewing on my PSP. However, whichever option I choose on PSP VIDEO 9, I seem to get a picture that is stretched vertically. I've even encoded it to 4:3 and then stretched it horizontally; no joy. Any ideas what I can do to get a proper aspect ratio? Ideally, black bars at the top and bottom, I suppose - but I'm not sure this program is capable of this.

EDIT - Nevermind, I've actually now found the padtop & padbottom controls!

Just saw your message. I was just gonna say....

Encode at 368x156 and add -padtop 26 -padbottom 26 to
Custom ffmpeg flags. Aspect ratio 16:9. Should look fine..
