          Going to go against the grain here.

          IMO Sony sets give a far better picture quality over Tosh sets, even if the Tosh has more features. Mind having said that, I actually prefer some Philips tubes to Sony stuf - go have a look at an electrical place to see which you prefer - the eye is in the beholder.
