Flashing an x2 bios with external programmer

Hey guys,

I got an external programmer 2 day but i cant get it to flash my chip, i plugged it into the parralel port and no program i use to flash it will reconise its there, ive tried everying i can find and it doesnt make a difference.

does anyone have any advise?
