    Win XP User Account problem

As I was going to be the only user of my pc I didn't bother creating myself an account and just used the default Administrator account. Problem is, that my brother decided to create himself an account, which of course replaces the Administrator account. Now all of my email, itunes, ftp stuff, etc. is inaccesible to me.

I can of course access my files via explorer, but is there anyway I can remove his account and access the Administrator account again?

(I'm using Win XP MCE2005 btw)

For XP Pro (i'm assuming XP MCE05 works the same) on the startup screen press CNTL ALT DEL twice and the logon box should appear.

If you don't get the start screen go to control panel | User accounts | change the way you logon (or something simular) and enable welcome screen.

Excellent, thanks. I won't have to cut my brother's hands off now.

Using Powertoys XP there is a option to enable the Administrator account to be displayed on the startup screen. Its worth a download (free from MS!) just to reconfigure the UI.

Might be worth doing if your brother wants to keep the account.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'll give it a go.

Tell him to get his own PC, then delete his account.
