Panasonic Q Owners, Need some info!

I'm looking at buying a Q and was wondering if i'm right here.

If I sell on my pal GC, does that mean I can play all my USA and PAL GC games perfectly via the Q with the freeloader?

The Q i've been offered isn't and hasn't ever been modded.

Yes, you can play both US and PAL games through the Freeloader, as long as the games in question are compatible with the Freeloader (never used one myself, but I hear that some games aren't compatible with it. Very few though, it seems)

If you get a Modded Q instead, you can use it to play US and Japanese games, and then only use the Freeloader for PAL ones. (Better idea in my opinion...the thought of having to fiddle on with the Freeloader everytime would get on my nerves. )

The only games that i know won't work are the japanese games but since your system is Japanese than it should work
You may be faced with a problem with some games, but just skip them

Playing PAL games on an NTSC cube is always a little iffy, you are probably best just hanging onto your PAL cube

Most of my games are USA anyway so I think i'l probably give the Q a shot. Is ?200 a good price for a brand new sealed jap machine? Never been outta the box or modified. (Sounds stupid but i'd prefer this to a modified unit)

Yes. Paid ?350 for mine, although that was a while ago. Plus, best looking console evah!

I can get hold of a second hand modded unit for the same price as this so just wondering which is the better one to go for (If you were in my shoes)

to be honest i think the modded units go for more

as they are more useful to most folks - so ?200 seems average

Paid ?118 for mine. Then sold it for a modded one. Would definately get a modded one if i were you mate.
