Motorola Phones and Bluetooth with Mac

Has anyone used a Motorola mobile phone to send and receive files from an Apple Mac using Bluetooth? I have a new Motorola Pebl phone. I?ve set it up on the Mac (iMac G5 rev B running 10.4.3) and it finds the phone but when I try and send a file to the phone it comes back with ?unable to validate device?. Does anyone know if I need a script or something? I contacted Motorola but they didn?t have a clue.

Have you paired the phone with the MAC?

I've set it up in the preferences (typed in the passcode etc) the mac finds the phone when it's discoverable but i cannot send to it. Do i need to do anything more on the phone? The G5 shows up on the device list on the phone.
