    A little help with freeloader

    I'm using it on a Panasonic Q, and note I'm using the Action Replay freeloader, not the standalone one. It works perfectly with all other games, but I'm having problems with TS2 PAL if I boot the machine in US OR JAP mode.
    Basically if I load it up, go to freeloader and press Y to choose the Euro flag then it works ok, but there's a constant flickering line at the top of the screen and its all really slow. I've just read in the manual that you can open the disc tray, switch the GC on and let it go to the rotating cube screen. Then insert the AR disc, let it recognise it then take it out and put in the game (strange, how does that work!). That was much better actually, but the screen was massive, apparently a known problem.
    I've read on Chris Marshalls site that it will work in JAP mode using "boot method 3", which says "#3: Press "Z" on boot and manually choose the region. So far this is the most reliable." what? press Z when booting the AR, the game I want to play or what. Please help me out here, cheers!

    I don't know exactly how Action Replay loads, but with the stand alone Freeloader, it goes like this for the method #3:
    - Insert the Freeloader/Action Replay
    - When he is fully loaded (Freeloader screen), press Z to bring the flag selection menu on screen;
    - Select the flag/region;
    - Insert the game and enjoy!!!

    Hope it helps.

    Although the method you were using is still the same as the one above. I guess the only difference is the button. (weird... )

      There is a new version of Freeloader that works with the pal version of zelda ww on an ntsc cube. Perhaps it will sort that out too.
      Or a better alternative is to sell your pal copy and get an ntsc one. I know that's not too helpful, but it's a guranteed solution, unlike Freeloader.

        Ah I think the "Z" boot methods the same as pressing Y, you just choose the flag. It works perfectly simply selecting freeloader on the AR screen and swapping discs as normal, however the only problem is that the TS2 screen is bigger than normal, so the bottom is cut off due to your TV being too small!

        Anyone successfully played PAL TS2 on an import console?

          Someone is selling the US version for ?15 HERE
          I might be able to try timesplitters 2 pal on my ntsc cube tomorrow. Doubt it will be any different though. (I have AR too).
