Laptop replacement battery?

Hi there, I'm having problems with my Fujitsu Amilio D laptop and I think the battery is at fault..it keeps turning off randomly and the battery just doesn't hold charge, the laptop is out of warrenty and I know phoning Fu will cost me a fortune to replace the battery..does anyone know how much these are likely to cost to replace? I would do it myself as I know a fair bit about building comps but I'm not sure where to get one other than Fu themselves? If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

sure google will help you out, got a replacement for my Samsung lappy from a independent online retailer twelve months ago for ?65 instead of ?90

i had a similar problem with an old sony vaio - i got a battery really cheap off ebay. much better value than the sony branded ones.

Note that the new vaio TX has a 7.5 hr battery life! pretty good!
