Of course they're not rare... you can still buy them new at a few places. The point is that they are 'Ltd Ed' so obviously if only a certain amount were produced then at somepoint in the future they will be rare.

Exactly, but the rareness in future isn't my concern, I'm not looking to sell it in a few years time or whatever, what I want to know is how limited they are, but noone seems to know, and Nintendo haven't answered me yet.
