    Xbox-PC Networking Question

I've got a modded Xbox, as you do, and it's great and all, but I'm getting tired of constantly ftp'ing files across to the Xbox hard drive. I was wondering, since my Xbox is constantly connected to my PC, whether I can run stuff directly off my PC hard drive, rather than my Xbox hard drive (if you get my meaning). It would save a whole load of hassle, especially when transferring particularly large files across, and would generally make life easier for me.
So, my question - is there a program which lets you do this?

No - mainly because the programs you'd want to run would expect to be on a local XBox drive (Hdisk or DVD), they would look there for any additional files.

You could conceivably write a program that mounted a network share as if it was a local drive, but that would be incredibly difficult to do. The tough part would be allowing applications to transparently access the network share is if it were a local drive.

There is no reason why Homebrew stuff couldn't load files over the network though.

The XBox Media Player is capable of streaming Divx movies and Mp3s over a network from a PC, for example. I've done this, its very cool.
