Can someone give me a definitive answer as to whether i can connect a PC via the DVI port to the above TV via the TV's HDMI socket, using a DVI-->HDMI cable. (btw, this TV has no VGA socket

The reviewer on CNET said he had no joy trying to connect a DELL XPS via this method.
Need to know before i splash out on any kit.
