Just a quick Q, I remember reading there was a 'fix' you could do to a PAL Dreamcast to force it to output NTSC, this true? Did it help get around some NTSC games booting in 50Hz on PAL machines?

Having owned and chipped a handful of DC's in my time, I am personally not aware of anyway to make it boot in NTSC? There is the Action Replay CD-X that will boot games in PAL or NTSC, problem is as with forcing most PAL machines in to NTSC the Y-Positioning is way off and half the screen dissapears. I tried a couple of times to force or find a mod to make a PAL DC output NTSC but to no avail. In the end I've stuck with Jap/US machines and install the simple 4-wire chip to make the DC run all games at 60hz. Also as I'm sure you may be aware, all games boot in 60hz when using a VGA box.
