Goblin - release dates.....

firstly let me try and make it clear that this is a question and not a moan.......

I had pre-ordered Midnight Club2 (xbox)with goblin, the US release was 3rd/4th June (last Tue/Wed -not sure which), anyway that was the release date on goblins site too - now i've ordered a few things in the past from goblin, tho never games awaiting a release, and they have arrived pretty sharpish.

I was looking forward to playing MC2 @ the weekend, but come friday it hadn't arrived, (tho tbh i wasn't sure if it would arrive in time for the weekend when i ordered it.)

Gave em a ring and the nice lady told me that they were expecting their copies next week - (i.e this week now) - i was a bit surprised that 3 or 4 days after the US release that Goblin didn't even have their stock of the game, it's now Monday and obviously it aint arrived on my door mat as Goblin aint getting them till this week, - i would just like to know if this a common occurance on US releases or if its just because MC2 is not perhaps the biggest and most sought after title, and hence there is less urgency for Goblin to get their stock in quickly.

The thing is if i'd pre-ordered it from DVDBO then it can take a week-10days to get here, however, as things are, that may be around the same time as i'm gonna get my game from Goblin, (and at higher price i might add).....

It sounds like im having a moan, but honestly i'm not!!
I guess i'm asking the rest of ya that use Goblin more often than me, how quickly you receive your games in relation to the US release dates - with the great offer that is coming up from Goblin i'd like to know

Please don't turn this into a Goblin slaggin thread - thats not the intention of the thread.....

I'd like to know too-I've added my name to their offer with NTSC UK for cheaper games etc.
Only thing is I ordered Burnout 2 AFTER the release date, the GC USA version and they have basically given up on getting in a copy and offered a refund. I'm not slagging them, just wondering if people usually get their US games quickly after they release in the US?

I've never had a problem with Goblin, bought quite a lot of US GC stuff from them of late, always arrives within a couple of days....never preordered anything though.
