Best GBA experience? (Backlit SP 50Hz motion blur an issue?)

I've read that the updated backlit GBA-SP runs at 50Hz refresh rather than 60hz (old SP and Micro are 60Hz) - thus causing a motion blur.

I plan to buy either Micro or backlit SP. I already own a DS but find playing GBA games on it (like Gunstar Super Heroes) uber uncomfortable. As Im not too concerned about portability size isnt an issue. I also dont care about GB/GBC backwards compatibility. I just want the best GBA experience going. Which console will give me this?

Any news on a Micro - GCN connection cable? play-asia doesnt have anything listed yet.

that seems unlikely. As far as I know all LCD screens run at a (minimum of) 60hz refresh rate, though I don't know a lot about these things. Guess that if there is motion blur that thas more to do with the higher contrast ratio rather than the refreshrate.

Where did you read this (link or scan)?

Well here is where I read it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game_Boy_Micro

"The new improved SP sports a backlight equal to the GBM, but retains most original functionality and the same screen. However, the backlit SP runs at 50 Hz, rather than 60 Hz, which can result in motion blur in fast-paced games".

I've never experienced any bluring on my GBA SP.. well I have never noticed it if its ever happened anyway. Heh

I don't have a Micro but they seem to be really errm, small, so you probabaly shouldnt get one if you have big hands.

Having just got a DS though I think you should actually just think about sticking with that as the screen is just so much clearer, going back to the GBA isnt that nice now for me, even if it is alot more comfy to hold.

The Micro screen is clearer than the DS, although it is considerably smaller.

Backlit screen running at 50Hz sounds like a bull**** rumour to me and not something Nintendo would have done.
50Hz on games designed around a 60Hz screen would result in either slower gameplay or graphics break-up.
