Connecting a GB Micro to the Gamecube?

Could you connect a GB Micro to a GCN with the following items?

Game Boy Micro Conversion Connector

Official Nintendo Gamecube to GBA Link Cable

Assuming these adaptors would connect up would this make the Micro compatible with 4 Swords Adventure (GCN) muliplayer??? Or is the micro simply not compatible with GCN connectivity?
