Psp version question

Maybe a stupid question!

I have updated my v1.5 psp to v2.6

If i format my memory stick will the psp go back to v1.5 or is it now permantly v2.6?

i.e does the update save to the psp or the memory stick

AFAIK, it's on the PSPs memory and not the stick, so noway to downgrade from 2.6.

Hasan's right, it's the PSP that updates, not the memory stick.
Take the memory stick out, reboot and you'll see.

Don't worry 2.60 will be cracked sooner or later
