    Laptop Keyboard

The A key on my keyboard was playing up a bit, so I removed it to fix it, and found that one of the hinges was broken

So I removed an useless key (Alt GR) and then broke that hinge as well

Now Im left with the mess in the picture and I'm really pissed.

Anyone know where I can get replacement keys?

All I can think is to ask the laptop manufacturer.

It was a little funny, though.

This happened to me. I had to send it back to the manufacturor but my laptop was in the middle of it's garantee period. Alt take it to your local pc shop and they might be able to help.

There's a lesson here: NEVER EVER EVER mess with the keys, do not remove them, no not go near them with a vacuum cleaner.

Found a spare keyboard on eBay but they're going for ?30

For now Ive got the buttons blue-taced down and have to press extra hard.

Would use my wireless keyboard but I'm too used to the laptop and the keyboard is used ont he 360.

Yeah thats what I thought of doing, but there must be a way to reassign the A to a different key.

There probably is a way, until then, how about use "Z" instead of "A" then use Word's search and replace feature afterwards to replace all Z's with A's - or actually can you only replace whole words with that feature ?

Downloaded a freeware program and swapped Z with A, much easier now.
