Burnout Revenge PAL PS2 - prog scan support?

Hi,

Anyone with the PAL PS2 version of Burnout Revenge know if it includes progresssive scan (480p) support or at the very least a 60hz option?

I'd imagine so, burnout 2 and 3 both did

I know that the US version of Revenge supports prog scan but thought it might've been removed from the PAL release.

Picked up a copy of Burnout Revenge & the PAL PS2 version does indeed include prog scan support (480p).

I also got a cheap copy of Burnout 3 but there is no prog scan option. Seems EA included it for the US release but ditched it in PAL-land (muppets ).

Sounds like EA are pretty good as far as 60Hz/480p stuff goes... unexpected.

Well b2 was done by Criterion when they weren't owned by EA.

Yeah that works with Revenge but not with Takedown. All you get is the option to choose between 50/60hz mode.

I guess EA took the decision to drop the prog scan mode as not enough people had tv's that supported it at the time.
