Here's what you do: eject the disc, remove disc from drive, place disc back in box, take box with contents (game, manual, etc) back to shop you purchased it from, slam hands down on counter and demand a refund or replacement.

Then get a replacement that will do the same
Quite a helpful post there especially seeing as most of us know the "real" answer to his problem. As it's already been said the game only supports 60hz. Doesn't matter if it's the pal or ntsc release.
