Trade-in question

How much would I get from either GAME or Gamestation if I was to trade-in Ridge Racers and Lumines (both US) for the PSP?

I tried that but the barcode scanner picks it up even if the sales person doesnt, so its a definite no.

Don't know, certainly throughs up a warning in GAME store I tried, on a side note, their part-ex prices are very very low, I was in GAME at weekend, guy came in with PAL PGR3, was offered ?13 cash or ?18 in-store.

your right both GAME and Gamestation really do take the piss, personally if they offered me ?13 for my copy of pgr3 i'd rather break the game by beating the shop assistant round the head with it then let the b@stards have the pleasure of adding me to the large list of those who have been c**ted over by them

There used to be a shop in newcastle called "next level" only stuck around afew months, meant to be "retro and import", all lies. Anyway, selling games at full price (39.99 for all new releases), their trade in prices were disgusting. I remember watching some little kid ask how much he'd get for simpsons hit and run and another title, both fairly new at the time. The answer - ?2 for simpsons and 7 for the other game. Bastards.

unfortunatelt i found out by personal experiance that a lot of these indie stores are ***** when it comes to trading games. They see kids as easy pickings, they know they can rip them off, i bet you if an adult went in to trade those games they would have offered more. By personal experiance i remember my local indie only giving me ?65 for a boxed saturn and over 10 games back in early 97, i know now the **** ripped me off, but i was only 12 at the time so never knew any better. I'm glad that wanker went bust and had to close down.
