new to importing-need some help please

im new to all this and im hoping to import animal crossing.i have a pal gamecube and a reasonably cheap tv, however i am able to play pal games like zelda and super monkey ball in 60hz mode using a normal scart lead.does this mean im ok to play ntsc animal crossing with a freeloader?im a little confused and any help would be appreciated.thanks.

Yes, you'll be fine. The GameCube outputs a PAL 60hz image in import games when using the Freeloader. Basically like with PAL games. Also, if you're using the normal Scart (composite) I'd highly recommend upgrading to a much superior Scart connection (RGB).

Also, I thought I might add that it doesn't matter if you're TV isn't NTSC compatible or not - when using a PAL GC and Freeloader. As long as you're TV supports the 60Hz refresh rate, you'll be fine .
