    If you head over to

I played it. The game sucks hard. It tries to use the whole time control gimmick but unlike F.E.A.R fails miserably. The effect looks crap, time slows down a bit too much to be fun and the combat is among the worst I have ever experienced in any FPS. Which is a shame because the guns look cool but feel rubbish (with the possible exception of the flamethrower). The ragdoll physics are a joke making it totally unsatisfying when you take out enemies, who have substandard AI btw. The cutscenes are PDZ quality with even worse voice-acting.

You can also stop and reverse time, but all they do is make the game ridiculously easy. However, there were a few boring puzzle situations where you had to stop time in the demo. Time-puzzles have good potential but judging by the lack of creativity shown in the demo my hopes aren't high.

On the plus side, the graphics look nice enough, with some impressive lighting effects if you run the game on max. Bodes well for the 360 version. But as they say, graphics make a game not.

      Jeez, I just tried it,

      it sure is shonky.
It looks like a ps2 FPS that has been coated in the next gen effects, HDR, bump mapping blah blah blah.
It actually runs worse than FEAR does on my PC

I can't comment on how it plays because I only had a run around the first area.
      It doesn't look good.

The game did in fact start off as an Xbox game (due out last year in fact). So it is essentially exactly what you've described, since it wasn't built from the ground up with next-gen in mind.
