    Gamecube Component set up question

Getting a new TV next week & I already have a GC component lead ready to go (can't wait to try F-Zero out...)

I'm also getting one of these comp boxes - my question is this; do I plug my red & white audio leads directly into my receiver? Or do they go into the box?

Any help much appreciated - I'm a cable dunce.

You could do it either way really but it probably makes sense to plug in the red/white leads into the splitter if you're going to be using a few consoles via the component box.

That way you can just plug the white/red leads that come out of the comp box into your receiver and be able to switch between consoles without unplugging anything.

Edit: ps the GC component lead only has video out (red/green/blue) so you'll need to use the av cable (just the red/white - ignore the yellow one) that came bundled with your Cube for audio. The component lead gets plugged into the digital av out on the back of your Cube and the av cable just plugs in as normal.
