Panasonic Q and component video

Just wondering can a panasonic Q display component video for watching DVD's

cant seem to get mine working , i can play games via component fine but DVD's i get no signal

Hooking the Q up to an RGB TV via RGB Scart i can veiw DVD's ?? ive had a look at the DVD menus to see if theres any options to turn it to component and theres nothing i can see

any help would be great

As I've understood it the best picture you can get (for DVD) on the Q is S-video. I use S-video for DVDs and a modified RGB-cable for games.

yeah its just ive got it hooked up to my plasma via component for games , and was wondering if its poss to watch DVD's via component (ive got a denon 2900 player for films so not to worried about geeting the best pic from my Q), id find it a bit weird if you couldnt use component for DVDs

just curious if it works really
