    Setting up a USB Wireless dongle

    Trying to set one of these up on my mates pc so he can use his ds/psp online - need to enable it as an access point, and have no idea how to do it

    any help would be appreciated

    which stick is it ? not all can be set as Access Points as far as I'm aware.

        yep it can be done with that one but don't know how, no manual ? google then.

        my C&W one was just a case of right click icon on task bar, properties, and tick either Access Point or ...... (the other option)

        Useful as a chocolate fireguard, that's me.

          Sometimes its called AP mode or softAP

          or something else with AP in it

            I haven't used mine as an access point for a DS yet, but the settings for doing so are in the router configuration.

            Basically, if you can access your router settings from your internet browser, you should be able to do it. In my Netgear router all I do is click on Wireless Settings and tick the box marked "Enable Wireless Access Point".
