    Inflation may erode the buying power of your quid but you also have to remember that tech gets cheaper over time. If it didn't we would all be paying a grand for our latest consoles, excluding ebay of course. LOL

      I remember the very sudden xbox price drop though they did give out a joypad and a couple of games to people who bought it at launch price.
