I have a PAL cube and use freeloader to run US and Canadian games. Resident Evil 4 US and Battalion Wars Canada I have played recently on my Pal cube with no probs (haven't need to swap discs in Resi yet, though).

i have never managed to run any pal games on any of my ntsc cubes, think it's maybe an issue with the tvs

Actually I've found it to be more a question of what version of Freeloader you are running. Anything before 1.06B (that's the capital B not the little b) seems to have major problems running PAL on NTSC Cubes.

I've gotten all the PAL games I have running fine on my Japanese Cube, but that's because I have version 1.06B in my possession. What PAL games? Well mainly the two Donkey Kongas, but a few other bits and pieces as well.

Proof in the pudding, my on/off gf in the US has 1.06B as well and I've been able to play any PAL game on her system as long as it has a 60Hz mode.
