erasing an n64 memory card?

I think I used to use the in-game option in one of my games - Diddy Kong Racing is one that lets you delete/copy files from the pak.

I think you can get to the memory card screen by doing some button command during the boot up of a game. Mash / hold all the buttons just after you turn the console on and it should work.

Put a cart in that uses the memory card to save then hold in start on your pad & it should bring up a memory card management screen. From there you can delete your saves.
