Excellent thread. was a bit scared about doing this but I think I'm gonna give it a bash.

I hope you didn't have a 9800 pro, not sure about the video error thing, seems weird. Got onboard graphics as well tho so there's always that option.

I'm sure you'll be fine. If you stick to the tutorial you can't go wrong really.

The pc that was giving me problems just had onboard graphics. The one that worked had an ancient 32mb (Voodoo I think) graphics card so you don't need anything cutting edge!
