Problem 100hz tv and NTSC GameCube

I have the following problem i have a NTSC GC connected to my tv by a modded rgb cable. But when i play games the picture is pretty ok. But when you start walking with you character it gives little shocks in the picture it's not fluid. The picture stands still for maybe a second and then goes on.

Does anyone know what the problem can be?

    Welcome to NTSC-uk.

Does it only do this on GC games then? "maybe a second" ....Sounds serious.

Have you tried turning ALL the picture processing stuff in the TV menu? Does it have the option of changing to 60Hz instead of 120? On my GC at 120Hz, the screen tears quite badly when spinning round or other fast full screen changes. It's much better in 60Hz.

No can't chance it to 60hz. And tried everything on my tv. But no luck. My Pal PS2 works fine. I go try to connect it a different way by s-video or maybe i can get a connector from my pal gamecube and try it without the rgb cable.
