    samurai showdown

    is this getting a release over here on the xbox or is it going to stay with the yanks? I want to play this online and have only got a pal xbox, i alrrady have live but will i banned if i try and mod to play this online..... nothing is simple...arrrr.

    if anyone has this please let me know. or if there is a way we can all get together and pertition to get more releases over here.

      sorry, typing with brain on auto, just really annoyed that we always get the sticky end of things. i wanted this for online play. but i have a bad feeling that i will get banned if i mod my xbox then go online.

        There is/will be a PAL version. And you spelt "Showdown" correctly, it's SNK that's been getting it wrong for years.

            is the pal version going to be ps2 only are we going to get an xbox wit live edition? i will get it on the ps2 but the live connectivity will make it a great deal more....

                Yeah, it will be released some day ... but don?t hold your breath.

                I?m really wondering why they do not simply release these games on the PC and give it proper online play. That would also help them reduce the amount of rom users ...

                  the problem with using the PC as the maimn platform is that it suffers from lag more easily, partly because of inconsistent operations sytems and differing net connections.
                  Live offers something that no other online systems offer, a base refference, with live demanding a particular speed or better it gives the developers a frame to work off and if they get the mechanics working at a consistant and suitable level then any better connection speeds are gravey.....
