Does black work on Xbox 360?

I haven't seen an answer but I doubt it. It could be added in the next compatibility update due in March/April time, but I think with this being EA that we're likely to see an enhanced port in the vein of Burnout Revenge and Battlefield 2: Modern Combat announced at E3 or in the near future.

I doubt it - it's pushing the xbox pretty damn hard via renderware and I don't think the emulator in its current state will be up to the task (given that it can't currently handle any other criterion output)

It won't be , as the 360 version was one of the very first games announced for the 360.
