    Starting a new live account for the free month trial

    is this possible and does it involve wiping your exisiting account?

    If you're talking about the 360, you can have multiple Live accounts on one machine. I have two (main UK one and a US one to get hold of any marketplace stuff that's placed there early).

    Don't know about the original Xbox though, as I've never used Live with it.
