Right I modded my PAL Crystal X-Box , and have swtiched the video mode to NTSC, so I can get the high def options.

Just like to make sure will I get banned from LIVE, if I play my Pal games using the NTSC display mode ???,
Also have Evolution X disc , and was just wondering can I install that and still use LIVE , if I don't install the media player (which I think LIVE checks), and swtich the chip off when going on LIVE

I know this looks like I?m being paranoid , but I?ve got one X-Box banned after using it with the chip still switched on (left LIVE on the Harddrive and auto sign in), coming back from the pub pissed up after the Rugby. I don?t fancy making the same mistake twice .

You can play PAL games online on Live fine even with the EEPROM patched to NTSC video - I do it myself. Modchip must be off though, obviously, and if you have changed the HDD, the machine must not have gone on Live prior.
Live basically 'remembers' what HDD goes with your machine, so you must stick to the HDD you first went on Live with. This is why I bought a 300GB HDD before going on Live for the first time.

New modchip bioses actually have Live blockers, so you should in theory be unable to accidently connect to Live with the modchip on anyway... but better safe than sorry, do NOT use the normal MS dashboard if the modchip is on (or at least disconnect the network cable).

This EvolutionX disc really only effects anything with the modchip turned on, so it's not a factor for consideration. You will soon ditch it and do it all manually anyway, your own apps etc.
The Media Player (I assume you mean XBMC) has nothing to do with it - again, this has no relevence when the modchip is off anyway.
