how do u setup ur gc sound? -5.1 any good?

i know the cube does pro logic 2 but its just a bit steep for me to purchase...

i have a creative inspire 5300 and extigy...
was planning to hook it up to that....

was just wondering if anyone has tried it through normal 5.1 and is it any good??

i believe hooking the xbox up to that would be no problem as xbox is 5.1???

Unless the Exitgy can take a PL signal and output it PL over the 5.1 speakers, you'll only get normal stereo from that setup mate.

The Xbox should indeed be 5.1, if using an optical cable + official RGB lead.

Does your kit use pro logic 1? Just use that instead.

Currys now have an LG surround kit that does pro logic 2 for ?200 it's jus been slashed to half price (was ?400) might pick one up with my staff discount might be of use to you?

i wasnt really looking to purchase another surround system given that i already have a 5.1

hm... i dont think my setup has pro logic 1

actually, i just checked my tv it has this option to turn to dolby pro logic or dolby 3 stereo.....

would using that make my games sound anywhere near pro logic 2?
