    360 Pads work on pc?

    Guys,

Just wondering if the rumours of the 360 pads working on the pc are correct, and if so do the wireless ones work?

Was thinking of getting one and thought it would be cool

Only the wired ones work, unfortunately.

There are rumours of a dongle coming out for the PC to use wireless pads... but strictly rumours.

only the wired pads work, you need the drivers from windows update or the microsoft website.

But then you'll be missing out on possibly the best pad ever made.

There's no difference between the normal wired 360 pad, and the PC version of the 360 pad, except the fact that it comes with a driver disc, which can be downloaded from the MS page, and is a fiver more expensive.

Shame you can't use the triggers and the button clicks.

The drivers are a bit weak at the moment

Enticing, which versions of Windows does it work with, is 2000 supported?

It's seems to be XP SP1 and above.

There are third party drivers, 'XBCD' drivers. These were originally for XBox1 pads on the PC, but the newest release of the drivers support 360. Maybe they'll help?

These were the best drivers for XBox1 pads on the 360, so these should be good.
