A word of warning: I read the review of the wired 360 pad in PCG too, and thought, "Why not?", because I wanted a decent pad to play GTR with.

Then it stopped working within about 6 hours use. Every PC I've tried it on just won't detect it at all. It went from working to not-working within the space of 5 minutes and a reboot.

And, of course, I hadn't used it very much over the course of a couple of months, so I couldn't send it back.

Get yourself an original Xbox pad to USB adaptor cable (assuming you have an Xbox) instead. Less than half the price, and the drivers are pretty darned good.

That depends more on the game than the pad. While my 360 pad worked (for all 6 glorious hours - no, I'm not bitter!), I could use the triggers fine in something like GTR.

These were the best drivers for XBox1 pads on the 360, so these should be good.
this works a treat for stuff like FF XI
