I'm having trouble getting my switched snes to work properly in 60hz on my lcd (it works fine on my parents crt - which was my old tv). The console will run full speed and full screen, but the colors are all wrong (according to the crt its outputing 60hz in pal color scheme - the NTSC schemes give a black image).
I did some research and it seemed that removing the capacitors on the scart plug and wiring the RGB wires direct to the pins would work. It did, but the colors are two bright. I know I can add resistors to fix this, but another problem has emerged. The cable is playing up and isnt always displaying anything now - in either mode. Also, I get hideous flicker during title screen for super mario world (my test cart), although in-game its fine bar a few minor glitches.
It's not the tv as it runs both Pal and NTSC 60hz fine on my other machines (over all connections), its just the snes that is being a pain. Will a properly wired rgb scart (ie snes spec) actually fix this, and does anyone actually sell them rather then generic universal cables (which wont work)
